My question: Can we manage groups (customers) under Woo?

Hello and thank you for your comment.
On Woocommerce, there are plugins like " Prices By User Role " that allow you to create dynamic pricing (apply discounts by targeting only a particular group). However, I don't think it allows you to hide products from specific users.
For this functionality, other extensions are available like “ Product Visibility by User Role ”.
However, they are not available in French at the moment.

You are tired of Prestashop, you will also be tired under Woocommerce, it is just an adaptation of a shopping script on a blog platform, basically a plaster on a wooden leg.
Ask yourself the question, what is your goal in ecommerce? to sell? if yes then forget these solutions or you will waste time and money.
I'm telling you this because I also tried Woo and frankly no thanks. I don't want to waste my time making a store, I switched to Shopify and at least now I use it to customize my product sheets and not to configure plugins.
Good sale.

Hello and thank you for this very informative comparison.
We currently have an e-commerce site in asp that we can no longer develop due to the difficulty in finding developers and especially the cost. We therefore wish to change and are looking at the Woo commerce and Prestashop solutions. In this article you imply that for large catalogs it would be preferable to use Prestashop, but what size are we talking about? from how many products do we talk about a large e-commerce site? on the other hand we have several stores, what do you think is the best solution for managing multi-stores?
Thank you for your answers
Christophe.

Good evening Christophe,
First of all, thank you for your comment.
When we talk about large catalogs, we are mainly talking about catalogs where there are different modifiable parameters for each product, such as the size for a pair of shoes or the color for an object. This therefore multiplies the number of references. To give you an idea, we start talking about large catalogs as soon as the number of references ecuador whatsapp data approaches 2 to 3,000 references.
However, it can be much more. Not knowing what your need is, I can assure you that Prestashop allows you to manage much larger stocks. There are sites under PS with up to 100,000 products (see Prestashop forum ).
For multi-store mode, I recommend this very relevant article on the subject.
I hope I answered your question correctly.
See you soon !

Thank you for your articles
This is very interesting this topic it gave me a lot more pressure.
Just I have a few questions to ask you: I have a project to create an e-commerce store for the sale of virtual products. So between woocommerce and prestshop, with which I can customize 100% the payment method??
For a simple need to start with, without prior experience in the web, I would tend to recommend Shopify.
