How to use LinkedIn to be more visible?

To make ourselves visible in these search results, we have to make optimal use of those keywords for which we are interested in appearing and with which we want to be associated. Where do I start to increase my visibility on LinkedIn?
1. Define your keywords
At this point, rather than focusing on what defines you as a professional, focus primarily on what your target audience would be looking for (which is obviously related).
Considering what is usually searched for on LinkedIn (specific experience and/or positions), when defining your keywords make sure to include those that represent:
Your profession or what you do: “Digital Marketing Consultant”
Your area of expertise: “Social Media Specialist”
In any case, you have very useful keyword research tools, such as Semrush, that can help you discover exactly what your audience is searching for so you can then use those keywords in your profile.

2. Spread those keywords throughout your profile
Once you have selected your keywords, distribute them throughout all the sections of your profile with a density of approximately 30 words.
Especially in: Title, excerpt, professional experience, training, articles, publications, recommendations…
I recommend that you use your keywords naturally and not “shoehorn” them in. Do it in such a way that whoever reads your profile clearly identifies what you do and, most importantly, how you can be useful to them.
Also, remember that hashtags on LinkedIn are super effective so make use of them. I tell you more about it in this other post .
REMEMBER: Don't focus your actions on being sought, focus on being found easily.
Now that you know the importance of keywords and SEO on LinkedIn, we can move on to optimizing your profile, of course, by applying everything we've seen. Let's go!
