One of the biggest turn-offs for new leads is receiving sales messages before any relationship is established. People are more likely to respond if they feel they’re receiving value rather than a sales pitch.

Solution:
Share educational content, downloadable resources, or time-sensitive deals in exchange for engagement.

Value-driven messaging builds trust and primes leads for conversion.

Mistake 7: No Follow-Up or Poor Timing
Not every lead will convert immediately. Some might need more information, a better offer, or simply time. Without a follow-up strategy, you’ll lose warm leads.

Implement a follow-up sequence using automation.
Day 1: “Thanks for your interest! Any questions so far?”
Day 3: “Still considering your options? Here’s what sets us apart…”

Be persistent but respectful — space out messages and always allow users to opt out.
