Orange Summer Challenge 2023, organized jointly by Orange Digital Center and EY Tunisia, aims to support student projects this year on the theme of Artificial Intelligence of Things (AIoT).

We offer you this excellent contribution from Tekiano

Orange Summer Challenge (OSC) returns again this year for its 13th edition in Tunisia but also at the level of 15 countries of the Orange Digital Centers network in Africa and the Middle East to try to win the exit mobile number database prize around an ambitious and topical theme:

Artificial intelligence and the Internet of Things: a winning duo to tackle the challenges of tomorrow!

By combining the potential of IoT and AI, OSC participants will be able to develop innovative solutions to address current and future challenges related to the environment, health, education, agriculture and many other areas.

Having a shared strategic vision to support young people in the Africa and Middle East region and participate in its development, the Orange Digital Centers network and EY Tunisia are joining forces for the second consecutive year to support the different teams throughout the competition, through tailor-made training and mentoring, provided by national and international experts.

In addition to the technical support provided by the experts of the coding school on the software side and those of the FabLab Solidaire on the hardware side, candidates will be able to count on the expertise and recognized know-how of the EY Tunisia teams, mainly on the business side and project assembly.

In addition, the two partners will provide training in design thinking, soft skills, communication techniques, etc. to best prepare the teams to pitch and defend their project at each national ceremony, with the goal of winning the international prize. The young students will therefore benefit from all the human, technical, technological and material resources to succeed in their projects and meet this challenge.

As a reminder, the Orange Summer Challenge (OSC) competition takes place over a period of three months (July, August and September) and highlights the collective intelligence of motivated students, from various complementary academic specialties, with the aim of designing innovative technological solutions with high impact.

For the first time, 15 countries from the Orange Digital Centers network in Africa and the Middle East will participate in this edition, which promises to be rich in exchanges and creativity. Participating countries are Tunisia, Senegal, the Democratic Republic of Congo, Mali, Cameroon, Burkina Faso, Guinea Conakry, Ivory Coast, Morocco, Jordan, Egypt, Madagascar, Liberia, Botswana, and Sierra Leone.

Also for the first time, an international prize will be awarded to the most innovative and impactful project among all the national winners across the Africa and Middle East region!

So if you're ready to take part in this wonderful human adventure and showcase your creativity and innovative spirit, don't hesitate! Join #OSC2023 and take on the challenge with artificial intelligence and the Internet of Things.
