Statisticians predict that by 2030 the share of Kazakhs will be at least 80% of the population of Kazakhstan. It seems to us that the pandemic here serves rather as a trigger for external migra

Our 2019 youth survey showed that cities differ from each other not only economically. No less important are mental, cultural differences in relation to important criteria that determine lifestyle and behavior (family, faith, money, leisure, shopping and consumption).

These mentalities can differ significantly from city to city, from region to region, and influence the behavioral patterns of residents according to a number of basic criteria (family, faith, money, leisure, consumption).

The pandemic and the restrictions associated with it may act as a catalyst, strengthening and exacerbating the processes of differentiation between the “mentalities” of different regions.

6) Reality bubbles

In the 2019 youth study, we discovered a trend such as canada cell phone number list the formation and existence of social “bubbles”.

Bubbles are a kind of self-contained imaginary reality that a person or group in this bubble accepts as reality, as their own world, where they can realize their need for freedom and self-realization.

Bubbles can be individual or grouped.

The danger of these bubbles is in their isolation, closedness, “cocooning” around themselves.

Without understanding the essence of bubbles, it is impossible to reach entire groups and layers of people.

In Kazakhstan, for many, family is a basic value. However, it is not uncommon to observe hyper-custody of young people by their families (not only parents, but also clans). A person, born from the mother's womb, gets into the "womb of family hyper-custody" . And this may not help, but hinder the self-realization of a young person, the freedom of his choice. In this sense, family hyper-custody can serve as a reason for the generation of such individual bubbles in young people.

The pandemic situation could greatly enhance the bubble generation trend.
