The influence of the field group
There are industries that need a lot of community engagement. This includes the fashion industry or charities, organizations fighting poverty or protecting animals, where the community element plays a very important role. On the other hand, the more specialized and technical the industry is, the less community involvement there is.
Technology, business, or science blogs rarely have an active community. Readers of these blogs are reluctant to leave feedback. If they have questions, they tend to ask the author privately.
Community building is essential for fields that require deep connections like charities and education.

What are you aiming for?
One thing to consider is the blog owner’s goals. If the blog is owned by a company, the goal is to sell or provide value to customers. For a charity, community engagement is important. If the blog’s goal is engagement, promoting community building is just as important as the main posts, if not more so.
You also need to consider how you build and engage your community. For example, should readers chat with each other in the comments section? Is there a forum or Facebook group? Should the community interact on another social media site like YouTube or Instagram? Should there be ways to contact you via email and private messages?
Identifying these will help you engage with your community more effectively.
Reciprocity: Give and take
The foundation of active community participation is based on the principle of exchange. If you want to do something, go 100% for it. No half measures, no distant worries.
Focus on producing valuable content. For example, if you’re a photographer, provide tips on how to take better photos. If you’re blogging about business, help people make smart, logical decisions or introduce useful business job seekers data tools. Don’t get discouraged if you don’t see a lot of traffic, comments, or likes. Just write and do your best.
Separate the creative and content creation work from the traffic analysis and marketing activities. When you write, forget Google Analytics. Instead, always create.
I’m not suggesting you eliminate analytics and abandon marketing. Just treat them as separate activities and tackle them at different times. The principle of reciprocity means that when you put your heart and soul into something, that energy will naturally flow back to you. It’s not some supernatural law, it’s simple psychology. In other words, if you put in the time to build and run a well-run blog, your readers will respond positively to you.
Is it always necessary to intervene?
Depending on the characteristics of your blog site, you should customize the production of valuable content because we cannot impose one expectation on every plan.
