I am proof that I built my business with absolutely zero money. In 2016, I became a single mom with a negative balance in my account. In the same year, I also lost my job, which no longer made me happy.
But I didn't feel sorry for myself for a moment, but finally rolled up my sleeves and started working towards my goals and dreams.
1. FIND A NEED IN THE MARKET AND OFFER A SOLUTION
Many entrepreneurs first create a product before even checking if there is a demand for that product. First, you need to feel the market and find out what the market needs and is looking for. Only then do you start creating products. How do you find out the market needs? Simply by doing market research.
I conducted a survey in the 1ka tool and used the survey to find out what digital marketing knowledge they were missing, how they preferred to learn, what they were missing from the competition,... And I distributed the survey on social networks, to an email database,... I came to very interesting findings that helped me create my products.
Also, follow comments on social media, from which you can learn a lot (what problems and challenges people are having).
2. WRITE MARKETING CONTENT THAT SELLS
You can learn how to write sales marketing content. Of course, with practice you will agent email list always get better. There is a proven formula for sales copy that convinces potential customers to buy.
- Arouse interest with a compelling headline.
- Describe the problem your product solves.
- Prove your credibility as the solution to this problem.
- Add testimonials from satisfied customers who have used your product.
- Describe the product and especially its benefits for the user.
- Present the offer.
- Add a warranty.
- Create urgency (this weekend only, limited stock, pre-order price until...).
- Call to action (CTA).
3. START PROMOTING ON SOCIAL NETWORKS
Social media is a great channel to test your products today . You can open them for free and promote them as well. But if you add some advertising budget , your results will be even better.
First, identify your ideal customer and then find the right social network for your products. The most popular networks currently are Facebook, Instagram , LinkedIn and Youtube.
4. MAKE A SALES WEBSITE
Today you can make your own website, as there are simple tools that help you create one. The cheapest and simplest tool is Wix.com , where I also have a website. All you need for a website is a domain, hosting, content, photos, and products to sell. If you don't have your own photos, you can use them from free libraries like Pixabay and Pexels. They are also available in the system itself.

5. DRIVE TRAFFIC TO YOUR WEBSITE
Once your website is up and running, you need to get people to visit it. You can do this by promoting it on social media, listing it on Google My Business , starting an email list and sending out weekly newsletters, and writing blog posts that help you optimize your website by targeting your business keywords .
6. BUILD YOUR IDENTITY
As I have been saying for a long time, it is very important to build your personal brand today. People do business with people and it is easier to trust a person than a logo. Therefore, you will be much more successful in marketing activities if the entire team is involved in it, or if you are an individual entrepreneur, you.
Don't hide behind logos, tell your story. Communicate with your potential customers as a person on a regular basis.
7. OFFER PRODUCTS THAT ARE UPGRADES
One of the most important internet marketing strategies is to develop the lifetime value of each customer . At least 36 percent of people who have bought from you once will buy from you again if you nurture them. So offer new products to existing customers , for example:
- Offer products that complement their original purchase.
- Send digital loyalty coupons that they can redeem on their next visit.
- When making a purchase, also offer related products on the thank you page .
