They are three inseparable factors of persuasion

Types of persuasive arguments
Logos appeals to the logical argument, which is presented in two ways : deductive and inductive.

Deductive mode : If A is true and B is true, the intersection of A and B must also be true.

For example:

A = The things you want are in their place.

B = You don't keep the ones you don't want.

A+ B from a mother: “I guess what is not in its place is worth throwing away.”

Inductive mode : the conclusion is an expectation that does not have to be true (and we know this from experience).

“If you are not tired to go out, you are not tired to work.”

In conclusion, and to finish:

To create persuasive content, these three principles are needed inseparably: Ethos, Pathos and Logos.

Content must be focused on generating value, trust and authority (Ethos), but it also needs to connect with our audience through emotion (Pathos) and offer good arguments through data and reason (Logos).



Without Ethos, there is no trust, you will be disliked and off-putting; without Pathos, you will be boring, unnoticed and may cause analysis paralysis; and without Logos, you risk appearing manipulative and unprofessional.

So, in what proportion do we apply each of them?
It all depends on the motivations of our audience.

Ethos is the non-negotiable basis. Without credibility, Pathos and Logos will be able to do little, email database indonesia no matter how well they are worked on.

From here on, if your audience is more technical, Logos will predominate over Pathos, which does not mean that you have to forget about the latter.
