Transactional and/or automated

There are different types of mailings that you can consider in your B2B email marketing strategy , one of them being transactional mailings. Transactional mailings are emails that are automatically sent to a single recipient, in response to an action they have taken with respect to our brand.

We share an example below: Montserrat Ruíz is a korean number whatsapp user who visited the website of Luna llena, a pre-sale apartment complex. She left her details in the form but did not respond to the advisors' contacts. Then, an email was sent to her providing more information about the apartments as well as a promotion, with the aim of persuading her to contact Luna llena again and arrange a visit to the showroom.

On the other hand, automated email , as its name suggests, is an automatic sending of everyday or repeated actions that a user can do. Its objective is to simplify manual work and rely on a tool to do it for us.

An example of this is this: Juan Guzmán is a user who visited the blog of Armada, a company that offers and installs sophisticated alarms for cars from other companies. He browsed Armada's blog reading several articles that talk about the operation and installation of these devices. In the end, the content was valuable to him and he decided to subscribe to their newsletter to receive notice of new posts published. Automatically, upon subscribing, Juan received a thank you email from Armada for subscribing to their blog.
