What is a sitemap?
A sitemap is a collection of web pages (URL addresses) of a given website. It provides information about the organization of the website's content.

Google will process a sitemap with a maximum size of 50 MB, while Seznam can only work with a sitemap file with a maximum size of 10 MB.

A sitemap can also contain some properties of individual web pages. These properties are defined through useful metadata, such as how often a given page is updated or how important it is in the context of other pages on the site. Metadata can also include information about images, video or mobile content. However, it is up to the search engine whether and to what extent it will take this information.
