5.- Focus on engagement

Post by Irfanabdulla1111 »

Don't obsess over reach or number of fans.

The main objective of a social network should be to have the highest engagement rate possible and there is only one way to do that: listen to the user and give them what they want.

6.- The products, outside
My experience is that either you are a super-recognized brand and have a launch, or the community cares very little about your products.

This may surprise you, but a user is not willing to spend money on a brand for the features. Or do you care about how much RAM the new iPhone has or how much horsepower the new Mini has?

No, they sell something else…

7.- The aspirational, within
If you want to engage, improve your brand recognition and drive sales from other channels, the best thing you can do is align your brand with aspirational content, because that's really what sells.

8.- Networks are for inbound, not outbound
If you spend your life on social media saying “buy”, no one is going to do it.

However, if you give the user what he wants, when he is in need, he will go and buy from you on his own.

It's that simple.

9.- Networks do not carry traffic
The only way for a social network to bring traffic to a project is by paying for it, but, organically, the traffic you are going to bring to a website from Facebook or Instagram is zero, do you know why?

Simple, because they are not made for that!

10.- Look at the networks within the global strategy
Social media, like other marketing tools, is of no use on its own.

Nowadays, users have many points of contact with a brand before making a purchase, email list of switzerland businesses which is why it is vitally important to put social networks in the right place in your project's overall strategy.
